- Last day of yoga with the cross country girls! I’ll miss them while I’m at school, but hopefully we’ll have more yoga during my winter break. For more about my yoga, http://eilayoga.wordpress.com/

- Awesome gnome at one of my favorite coffee shops back home, NightSky! http://www.nightskycoffee.com/

- Olivia in one of her favorite spots to nap in, my laptop must be warm. I’m going to miss her like crazy tomorrow night! Can’t take her with me to Athens…

- I’ve been going through old photos I have on Kodak Cds and can chronicle my boyfriend, Kenneth, and I’s relationship in photos. This is us two weeks ago.

- May 2008, one of my favorites.

- Summer 2006, at Aullwood http://aullwood.center.audubon.org/newsletter.pdf

- Old photo, we’ll have been together for five years next month, so I’m guessing this is from the Summer of 2005 or 2004.

For the month of September, I plan to post only in photographs or snapshots (with or without captions) and to post more often.

breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each.
- Henry David Thoreau
With my photography about a month away, I’ve been spending a lot of time working on framing my photographs and designing price tags (next will be the hard part – pricing!). The name of the show is Live Each Season, in reference to the quote by H.D. Thoreau above.
A few days ago I spent at least an hour (probably two) searching for the name of a flower I photographed in England. I ended up striking it lucky on Flickr, where someone else had posted a photo of the plant (it’s santolina… not chamomile as I was originally thinking).
I took a break momentarily today to browse my favorite photos on Flickr and created a collage of inspiring photos by fellow photographers. To get a better look at each photo, go to my Flickr page (http://www.flickr.com/photos/thippie/) and look at Favorites.
